Matriculation is on Tuesday, next week. After about 15 months of living abroad, traveling, and trying to figure out next steps, I will finally be a PhD student again. I am certainly ready.
Edinburgh is a wonderful place to live so far, and I had a great August. But summer is in its last throes, my long vacation is about up, and I am ready to meet loads of new people and get to work.
I hope to be posting a bit more frequently once classes start.
