The Legendary Leon Litwack

The following is a UC Berkeley webcast of Prof. Leon Litwack delivering his "Ideal Last Lecture" to a crowd of current and former students. He retired in June 2007 after more than 40 years of teaching at Berkeley.  He received his PhD from Berkeley as well. You can read more about Prof. Litwack here and here. I had the privilege and honor of teaching for him as a graduate student instructor (TA) during his final semester at Berkeley.

To watch the lecture: Start the clip at minute 27:00 to skip the flowery introductions and just listen to Litwack's lecture itself. I would have embedded the video but it's a streaming webcast.

Go here and click on the icon entitled 'watch webcast' to see it. Your computer will then download a small Real Media file that - when opened - will launch the lecture.
